Scope and Content

Loose black and white photographs (some mounted on card) relating to John Frederick Marshall and the British Mosquito Institute. Photos contain images of Seacourt, Hayling Island, where the Institute was based; laboratory equipment; group portraits of visitors to the institute from the Colonial Service and images taken of mosquito control programmes and monitoring being undertaken in Southern England.

Acquisition Information

The series was donated in person by Nicola Bennet, great granddaughter of JF Marshall.
