In 1898 Lily the youngest daughter of Alexander and Isabella Fraser married Robert Henry Roberts of Foxhall, a farmer and cattle dealer. As well as correspondence, the Roberts family archives include farm diaries and accounts. The dairies date from the time of Robert Henry's father, John dating from 1856 to 1883. Entries are mostly concerned with farming: wages and other accounts of payments; work undertaken; animals purchased, sold and moved etc and chapel matters: visiting preachers; accounts of collections held etc. R H Roberts purchased Foxhall from William Cornwallis west of Ruthin castle in 1909. Material concerning Henllan chapel and the Dyffryn Clwyd Presbytery of the Calvinistic Methodists are in the archives as R H Roberts was treasurer of the minister's fund of the vales of Clwyd Presbytery of the Calvinistic Methodists and Henllan C M chapel.
