Three brothers Alexander, Lachlan and James Fraser traded as tailors and drapers in Caernarfon, Denbigh and Wrexham respectively. There is correspondence in the archive between them and between Alexander and his relatives in Scotland as well as photographs and other material. The personal correspondence of Alexander Fraser of Caernarfon and his wife Isabella Cumming, also of Scottish descent whom he married in 1871, is extensive as is that concerning their four children Peter, Annie and her illness and death, Marjorie and Lily . Alexander was a deacon at Pendref Independent chapel, Caernarfon as witness the correspondence and papers from individuals who were invited to be pastors and on other matters.
