Battle of Rio de la Plata; Graf Spee overwhelmed by three simultaneous attacks from smaller Ajax, Achilles and Exeter. Churchill too much temperament to be great administrator. Captain Pillans praised superior French cruiser Dunkerque over British cruisers. Encloses letter from Lady Collins who has three nephews in Navy, and article on his book from Railway Review.
