Scope and Content

Black and white reproduction of work by Jean-Louis Forain, titled L'avocat parlant au prévenu (1st Plate). On comparison with the reproduction of the 1st state in Guerin catalogue, this impression proves to be later, i.e. intermediate between I & II. But it also needs comparing with a photo of the Wiggin impression (Boston) (ex Bliss collection) when that is available
