Scope and Content

Bequeaths to wife Joan "one-half of my land and one half of my wood" during the term of her atural life; to his eldest son William the other half of each; to his second son David £20; to his daughters Mary and Dorothy £10 each, these three sums to be paid within a week after WIlliam's marriage. William and his mother to be sole executors. Proved 20 April 1724.
