Includes a typescript list of honorary positions Britten refused since January 1975 and typescript and manuscript letters addressed to Britten or Rosamund Strode.

Stradbroke Over 60's Club, 1977, Rosamund Strode continues her own personal patronage following Britten's death.

St Andrew's, Gorleston Parish Church, 1978, dedicating pipes of their organ to Britten's memory.

The Barbirolli Society, 1971, asking Britten for donations to the Sir John Barbirolli Memorial Foundation.

Colombo Philharmonic Choir, 1973, from Ernest Soysa

Martin Shaw Centenary Year correspondence in ordinary correspondence files under Shaw.

Penwith Society of Arts, 1971, from Marcus Brumwell, including society's appeal leaflet.

Les Amis de Francis Poulenc, 1965, including membership card. One letter is in French.

Southwark Cathedral 20th century music festival, 1971, form Christopher Jenkins.

City of London Choir, 1963-1973, from Donald Cashmore and Susan Phipps, including Britten's resignation as patron and booklets for the season's concerts.

St Matthews Northampton Concert Society, 1966-1973, from Stephen Cleobury, Margaret Clarke and Reverend Charles Moxon, including Britten's resignation signed by Rosamund Strode and a leaflet for their Organ Appeal.

This file was orignially titled 'Queries for Sponsors'.

Rosamund Strode dealt with Britten's resignations and correspondence with sponsorships throughout the 1970's and after Britten's death.
