Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding Britten sponsoring children in Swaziland. Letters are signed by members of the sponsorship deparement including G. Wigg, S. Lawton and T. Murphy.

Britten's sponsored children were:

Kenneth Ndlangamandla in Swaziland. Includes two letters and photographs of Kenneth and a typescript reply from Britten. Letters indicate that this child left school and his sponsorship ended.

King Manyatsi in Swaziland. Handwritten note attached to this suggests Rosamund Strode conintued to sponsor this boy in 1977, after Britten's death.

Ernest Twala in Swaziland. These letters are between Britten, Twala and Rosamund Strode.
