Scope and Content

This volume contains a commentary on the Cezire-i Mesnevi compiled by Mehmet Esad, also known as Şeyh Galip. The Cezire-i Mesnevi is a commentary on difficult and obscure verses of the Mesnevi of Celaleddin Rumi compiled by Sineçak Yusuf Sinaneddin (died 953 AH/1546-47 CE). This manuscript was copied in 1238 AH (1822-23 CE).
