Scope and Content

This volume contains the continuation of Veysi's work on the life of the Prophet Muhammad صلعم entitled Dürretü't-tac fi siret Sahib il-miraç, compiled by Yusuf Nabi (died 1124 AH/1712 CE). Nabi's Zeyl covers the period from the expedition against the Banī Qaynuqā' in the year 2 AH to the capture of Makkah in 8 AH. He later wrote a further continuation, generally known as the Zeyl-i Zeylü'n-Nabi, which brings the story down to 9 AH. The work was completed by Nazmizade Hüseyin Murteza. A table of contents can be found at ff 1v-2r, and the main text begins on f 3r. The text contains a single unvan, and five of the folios are blank. This manuscript was copied in the 18th century CE.
