Scope and Content

This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish version of the work on astrology written in Persian by ᶜalā' al-Dīn ᶜalī Shāh Ibn Muḥammad al-Khvārazmī al-Bukhārī in 686-87 AH (1287-89 CE). The translation was made by Abdülaziz Efendi, the Hekimbaşı (died 1197/1782-83 CE) in the reign of Mustafa III (reigned 1757-73 CE). This manuscript was copied in the late 18th or early 19th century CE.
