A vakfiye concerning the income from property in the Arabpaşa quarter in Lefkoşa/Nicosia belonging to Ahmet Reşit Efendi, whereby Kâtip Ahmet Efendi is appointed as trustee (mütevelli) and his sons are to succeed him in this capacity. The son-in-law of Ahmet Efendi, Sufi Mehmet Efendi ibn-i Abdullah, and his sons after him, are to be appointed as müderrisler in the mosque school (dershane) founded by Ahmet Reşit Efendi, with the stipend to be paid out of the estate. If neither of these persons has any descendants, then the people of the quarter, acting with the consent of the Müfti in the case of the position of the müderris, are to appoint suitable persons to fill the vacancy. The manuscript features one unvan at its start. The document was drafted by Kazizade el-Seyit Mehmet Salim, whose seal it bears at the beginning. The date is given as 1235 AH (1819-20 CE). The manuscript contains a few lines in siyakat at the end, dated 1236 AH (1820-21 CE).
