Scope and Content

This volume contains the following two Ottoman Turkish poems of a popular nature:. (I) ff 2v-82v : Kitab-i Ebu Muslim, a poem on the exploits of Ebu Muslim, the revolutionary leader of the Abbasid Movement in Khurasan;. (II) ff 84v-132v : Kitab-i Yusuf, the story of Yusuf, according to the Islamic tradition, told in verse. This manuscript was copied by İbrahim İbn-i Mustafa in 1268 AH (1851-52 CE).
