Scope and Content

This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish translation of the Haft Paykar of Niẕāmī made by Işki (Aşki) at the command of Mehmet II (f 16r) in 861 AH (1456-57 CE) (f 152v). None of the tezkireler mention this translation. The poem contains a long terkibibent in honour of the Prophet Muhammad صلعم. The manuscript is undated but likely copied in the 16th or 17th centuries CE.
